About Mark E. Blankenship, MD
Dr. Mark Blankenship earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Blankenship did a general surgery residency at Memorial Health University and completed his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Blankenship is board certified in colon and rectal surgery. He is trained in the da Vinci Surgical System. Dr. Blankenship is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
